Welcome to Pedal for a Cure! We are a group of first-year students from McMaster University coming together under the name SPC (Semi-Pro Cyclists) to raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Cancer Society.
We’ll be biking and bikepacking from Toronto to Montreal over 5 days, covering a total of 700 km. Join us as we ride to make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Pedal for a Cure: SPC’s Ride Against Cancer is a passionate group of students who want to make a tangible difference in the fight against cancer. The SPC team was created to raise funds and awareness for cancer research through our 700 km bike ride from Toronto to Montreal.

Our Team
We are SPC, a group of two first-year students from McMaster University, taking on the challenge of bikepacking from Toronto to Montreal to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. We’re pushing our limits to make a difference. Though none of us have been personally touched by cancer, we believe in using our passion for adventure to support those who have. Every donation helps fuel our journey and brings us one step closer to making an impact.
The Ride
We’ll be cycling from Toronto to Montreal in 5 days, taking the scenic Waterfront Trail and stopping in towns like Cobourg, Kingston, Brockville, and Cornwall. Throughout the journey, we’ll share updates and document our experiences, highlighting the importance of cancer research and how every mile brings us closer to a cure.
